Southern Maine Wedding: Emilie & Jackson October 14, 2018

Updated: Feb 8, 2019

The vibe of a wedding day can often be so easy to capture. As a photographer I am tasked with documenting the day's story. The events, emotion, and details that make up the day are usually planned by the bride and groom. Emilie let me know that aesthetics were important to her, but more importantly the values she and Jackson hold were in the details, too. She let me know that when planning her wedding this was so important that everything at Emilie and Jackson's Southern Maine wedding was thoughtfully purchased Free Trade and ethically.

Shoes, make up, jewelry, etc all free trade.

They started the day getting ready at Village By The Sea in Wells. The weather could not have been more perfect at Ellis Park Gazebo in York Beach, Maine. During the ceremony Emilie's Dad played guitar and sang a sweet song for the bride and groom. They combined sand in a sand ceremony and sealed their vows with a kiss!

From there we went to Nubble Lighthouse for some photos. We did see a seal on the rocks, so that was neat!

We went back to Village By The Sea for the reception and cake!
