Meredith, NH: Romance in Mill Falls

I have yet to photograph a wedding where the bride and groom aren't madly in love.

However, Zac and Kelsey's love for each other is undeniably present. When I photographed their engagement session one foggy September afternoon in Portsmouth, NH I actually had to ask them to *stop* making out a couple times so I could manage a few shots of their beautiful faces! Y'all, this never happens. Most people are a little shy or awkward around the camera, and understandably so!

Not only do they love each other immensely, they are some of the kindest, sweetest, and warmest people on this planet.

It was an absolute honor to photograph their wedding day. I pulled in to Mill Falls with a light rain, but knew that it wouldn't affect the wedding. The day would be alluring no matter the weather!

I was most looking forward to the first look, just because the magnetism between them is amazing. I got the idea to increase the anticipation of the look by having Kelsey put her back to Zac's and they hold hands for a moment before turning around. The tension and butterflies were awesome! Of course Zac was compelled to go for his customary dip kiss!

I loved all the personal touches throughout the day. I've never seen a wine ceremony done before, and thought it was so neat! Instead of sand, Kelsey and Zac combined their favorite red and white wines in to one glass and each took a sip to symbolize their union.

After a few photos and then dinner the party started and continued long after I left late that evening.
