"Hot chicken with maple syrup!" Is how one guest described this merger at Jen and Joel's New England/Tennessee wedding. I loved the romantic and personalized details throughout the day.
We started at The BoatHouse Lofts where Jen and the ladies got ready. A chic modern hotel and restaurant right on the water with views of the fishing boats and Kennebunk River. Within walking distance of cute shops and other cute restaurants it's popular among tourists and vacationers. SeaSide Car Service showed up with a gorgeous black sedan to escort the bride to St. Brendan's Chapel in Biddeford Pool, Maine.
This church is so beautiful. While on a smaller scale than some other churches it has lots of charm and uplifting light pours in even on an overcast day. Saint Brendan's now tops my list of favorite chapels for weddings in Maine.
From there we headed for Pier77 for a nice lunch, drinks, speeches, dancing, cake and general good time. Reilly's Bakery brought a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake.
