Maine is a beautiful place to visit and get married but until you've experienced time on any island on the coast of Maine you can't truly appreciate it's beauty.
Mark and Toby and all of their closest friends and family traveled from Dallas, Texas to Great Diamond Cove from Portland, Maine.
On a warm August afternoon they gathered by the cove, under the shade (diet sun, for you Texans!) of an evergreen and exchanged vows. I love that they didn't have matching suits as I've seen some gay weddings where their attire clashed.
A String Trio played elegantly and a soft breeze blew by. After 23 years together Mark and Toby were finally married!
After a few group photos we walked to the Diamond Cove Art Gallery by the Fort McKinley Museum.
Guests were treated to a lovely dinner, music by the String Trio from the ceremony and delicious cupcakes by Cake Elizabeth and pretty floral arrangements by Harmon's & Barton's
